On Friday nights over the summer SWEAT SYDNEY hosted a run/swim challenge. It has been a great way to kick off our 2019 training campaign. SWEATERS joined local surf club ironmen and women for some Friday night sessions at Clovelly Bay.
It culminated with a special challenge event of 5 laps over a course consisting of a 75m swim and 800m path run per lap, with a soft sand beach run to finish off. Athletes swam in their running shoes. It was super training for anyone interested in triathlon and biathlon type events, as well as amazing cross training for pure runners.
Around 60 people attended the special challenge, capping off a wonderful summer of Friday night fun and fitness.
