It is a common sight for a long stream of runners to be charging around the white fence trail, lake trails or grassy hills in Centennial Park. 12 months of the year, including public holidays, SWEAT SYDNEY run club meet on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday for sessions facilitated by experienced running coaches.
One of the most popular circuits that SWEAT SYDNEY train around is the McKay Oval 1km loop. It goes around the outside of the oval fence, then along a portion of the white fence trail, then finishes along the edges of the long grasses of the wetlands section of the park. It is a picturesque loop and is the homeland of SWEAT.
Sessions conducted around this 1km loop include fartlek, 600m-1km reps and out and back efforts.
