Gary and been running at an elite level and coaching for 7 years. His best achievement as a runner has been in representing Australia in the World 100km Championships in 2015. Gary has had great success as a coach. Being accredited with Athletics Australia, Gary has coached the winner of the Six Foot Track 45km and top five finishers in the City to Surf. He has plenty of experience coaching runners of all levels, including kids, teens, recreational and elite level adults.
Warren has been a member of SWEAT since 2003. A keen masters runner from the outset, Warren became one of the top masters distance runners in NSW after a few years training with SWEAT. Nearing the age of 50 Warren was still running close to 35 minutes for 10km. Unfortunately Warren was hindered with a heart condition, but it did not stop him training and competing at a solid level.
Warren has been a global Ambassador for Medtronics, the company which designed and made his heart device. He has spoken and raced on their behalf in several countries.
Warren is a top coach who is accredited with Athletics Australia. He has coached in a range of positions, working with the kids group, elite squad and the Intermediate morning squad. He has been doing an amazing job as head coach of the morning squad, showing enormous enthusiasm and care towards his runners.
Sean Williams is a highly experienced fulltime running coach. Those who have improved under Sean’s guidance have included absolute beginners who cannot run 400m around a track at snail’s pace to the current Australian 10km record holder Ben St Lawrence; from 3 year olds to 80 year olds.
